Description:
Back Beach, is a scenic coastal destination known for its white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters stretching about 1.5 km in length. It's a popular spot for water sports, especially surfing, kiteboarding, and windsurfing, thanks to its consistent winds and flat water conditions. The Back Beach is Lancelin’s premier surfing beach. You can surf, SUP or boogie board all year round, although the pick of the months are March, April, May, June, October and November when the winds are lighter and the weather warmer. The beach is a haven for surfers, boogie boarders, bodysurfers, kitesurfers and swimmers. Like everywhere along the coast, the best conditions are in the morning before the sea breeze arrives. The beach offers a relaxed atmosphere with nearby access to extensive sand dunes ideal for sandboarding.
