Description:It is a popular point for launching kayaks and canoes, and also a great spot to sit and enjoy a bit of fishing or a picnic under the Peppermint trees. The jetty is also the starting point for the river boardwalk that takes visitors around to the river mouth. Residents from across the river, in East Augusta, use the jetty to access the town of Augusta.
