Description:The lake is located within the south-west region of Western Australia, 10km south-east of Collie. The name Lake Kepwari comes from the local Wiilman language ‘Kepwari’ meaning ‘playing in water’. The area is an old mine that has filled with water from the Collie River. The calm waters are ideal for swimming and canoeing activities. There is a designated water ski area on the lake with boat ramp and parking for boat trailers. There is sealed accessible pathways throughout the site.
