Description:Warroora Station is a family-run 265,000-acre/107,242 hectare cattle station on the edge of Ningaloo Reef, a World Heritage site, 60 minutes from Coral Bay. This location offers a world where the rugged outback seamlessly merges with stunning beaches. There is diverse accommodations including ocean view villas, beach side cottage, historic homestead, stockmen's Room and campground. The Homestead nature-based campground, located 1500 m from the beach, has large unpowered sites with their own fire pit. There is a basic camp kitchen and shower and toilet facilities. Please note that there is no power at the Homestead campground. The area is spacious, with lots of wildlife running around, including kangaroos and cattle. Parks and Wildlife now manage Warroora Station Coastline. Warroora is located 1 hour south of Coral Bay, 23 km off the highway. Almost all coastal access routes require a 4WD, while the Homestead can be accessed by 2WD vehicles under favourable road conditions (not wet). The Homestead has an airstrip. Carol Bay offers additional accommodation, although it is limited and does fill up quickly during peak periods (March- April). The summers (December - February) are long, sweltering, humid, and dry; the winters (June - August) are short and comfortable, ranging from 11°C to 24°C (51.8°F to 75.2°F). September to November offer warmer temperature ranging from 13°C to 32°C (55.4 °F to 89.4°F). It is windy and mostly clear year-round. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 12°C to 37°C and is rarely below 9°C or above 42°C. The natural vegetation in the area consists of the spinifex, wattle, and poverty bush shrub varieties. There is also a strong mangrove presence
