Description:
Hannans North, previously the Mining Hall of Fame, has exhibits on mining history and current mining practices. It offers information on all aspects of the Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines operation. Visitors can pan for gold, or get up close to a dump truck and shovel scale model of the Super Pit. Hannans North Tourist Mine is in the northern part of Kalgoorlie. Kalgoorlie is located 6.5 hours drive or 1 hour flight east of Perth.
