Description:
The Arthur River Heritage precinct includes the Mt Pleasant Inn Kitchen, Arthur River Post Office, reconstructed stables and a number of other buildings (under separate listings). These buildings are located on Albany highway and were regular stopovers for travelers on the road from Perth to Albany in the late 1800s. Arthur River is a small town with just over 100 residents located on the Albany Highway approximately 2.5 hours drive south of Perth.
