Description:
This brackish lake is considered by locals to be WA's best kept secret. This 256ha lake has permanent water and is the only inland lake to have jetties. It is used during the summer months by locals for skiing, swimming, kayaking, and sailing. It is surrounded by green farm land in winter months, and sometime canola crops. During summer the crops give way to dusty paddocks. There is some natural vegetation surrounding the lake and the back swamp is a surreal and spooky area with all the dead trees standing in water during winter and in the dry salt pan in summer.

Usage Restriction:
Permission will be required from Department of Conservation, Biodiversity and Attractions, Department of Transport, Lakeside camping and other adjacent land owners.

Jurisdictions::
Shire of West Arthur, DBCA
