Description:
Mount Magnet Race Club hosts two meetings each year in Autumn and Spring, a full day of activities and entertainment. The Race Club runs a fully licensed bar on the day and two-up after the last race. The Mount Magnet Turf Club, located 2km north of town, was formed 118 years ago, in 1896, establishing the foundation for what would become one of the most tenacious racing clubs in the country. Here, along with the thrill of the race in rich red earth, you can experience the enduring outback spirit.
