Description:One Arm Point is a three hour drive north of Broome at the top of the Dampier Peninsula. The road is strictly four-wheel drive only. Accommodation and meals are available at nearby Cape Leveque or Lombadina.
Usage Restriction:The Cape Leveque Road is a public road open to all members of the public. It passes through the Beagle Bay and One Arm Point Aboriginal reserves and provides access to Carnot Bay Reserve. These reserves are protected under Part III of the Aboriginal Affairs Planning Authority Act 1972 and entry permits are required if you intend to enter the reserves. However, the access road into Beagle Bay Community is a public road. For people travelling through these reserves to destinations such as Middle Lagoon, Maddarr or La Djardarr Bay for holidays or overnight stays, they may do so but should proceed directly to those destinations without turning into any side roads or other property.
