Description:
Big Brook Forest Pemberton is located approximately 3hrs 40 mins (327km/203 miles) south of Perth. It was the first karri forest to be regrown for timber after the logging period in the 1920’s and 1930’s. Today, it stands as an impressive example of a rejuvenated karri forest with a number of popular visitor attractions. There is a sandy beach area, which is popular for swimming. There is also a sealed 4km walk trail called Big Brook Dam Walk Track that follows the shores of the dam allowing stroller and wheelchair access, and is also ideal for cycling. The Big Brook Dam is approx 250 acres.

Usage Restriction:
Dogs may be taken on a leash to the Big Brook Dam, but not around the beach area. No camping is available at the dam area, but is available at the Big Brook Dam Arboretum.
