Description:
The Burt Memorial Hall stands in the heart of the Heritage Precinct of Perth. The Burt Memorial Hall is a superb example of a community building constructed in the Gothic Revival style. In 1922 a magnificent stained glass window depicting the Four Virtues was incorporated into this side of the building. It consists of four large panels with figures representing the virtues of Justice, Prudence, Temperance and Fortitude. Beneath these panels are the Coats of Arms of the United Kingdom and Australia together with the Diocesan Arms of Canterbury and Perth.
