Description:Currently the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder has identified the Recreation Hotel as a Category 2 in the Municipal Inventory of Heritage Places. It is “representative example of Federation Free Classical Style”. Burt Street is the main street of Boulder and the Hotel is on the Western end of the Boulder Town Planning CBD. Boulder being the junior to Kalgoorlie in the Twin City status.
