Description:Located about 500km / 300 miles north of Perth, Northampton is close to the beautiful and tranquil seaside towns of Horrocks Beach and Port Gregory with its spectacular Pink Lake, and is surrounded by rolling countryside and wildflowers in season. Northampton was classified as a Historical Town by the National Trust of Australia in 1993 and is steeped in history with the township being declared in 1864 after the discovery of lead and copper in the area. Northampton is a 5 hour drive north of Perth and a 40 minute drive north of Geraldton. Geraldton is a 1 hour flight from Perth.
