Description:Karijini National Park has breath taking gorges, crystal clear rock pools, waterfalls, and stunning scenery. At Fern Pool Waterfall you can have a refreshing swim in the spring fed permanent falls. You’ll feel like you’re in a tropical paradise at this pool surrounded by ferns and trees. Park managers have erected a wooden swimming platform with stairs, so water access is easy. The park has a system of excellent walk trails of varying levels, for the beginner to the adventurous, which will lead you deep into the subterranean gorges and through waterfalls where you can dive into sparkling rock pools. Karijini National Park is a 2 hour drive north of Newman or 3.5 hour drive south of Port Headland. Newman and Port Headland are both accessible via air from Perth, an approximately 2 hour flight north.
