Description:The Cockburn Range is an extensive sandstone escarpment shaped like a vast round fortress of high orange cliffs rising to over 600 metres above the surrounding plains and is cut by rivers, forming steep sided gorges. The Cockburn Range sits entirely on land owned by El Questro Wilderness Park and is located 1 hour drive east of Kununurra. Kununurra is a 3 hour flight north east of Perth. By road it is a 33 hour drive.
Usage Restriction:Lands in this region may be subject to Native Title and the Kimbereley Land Council should be contacted for further information. Lands may also be subject to mining and exploration tenement packages.
