Description:Cape Range National Park is a national park in Western Australia, 1,105 kilometres (687 mi) north of Perth. The park occupies the western side of the North West Cape peninsula over an area of 47,655 hectares (117,760 acres). Exmouth is the nearest town and is a 40-minute drive away, travel from Exmouth to Perth is a 1.45 hour flight or a 13 hour drive south. Located adjacent to Ningaloo Marine Park, Cape Range National Park boasts spectacular rocky gorges carved by ancient rivers that adjoin one of the most pristine and beautiful coastlines in the world. A highlight to the Cape Range experience is a trip to Yardie Creek, which flows between sheer cliffs. From the foot of the range, a narrow coastal plain extends to the magnificent beaches, waters and coral gardens of Ningaloo Marine Park. Turquoise Bay is made famous for its crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches. Visitors can further explore the park's rugged landscape of spectacular canyons along drive trails into Charles Knife Canyon and Shothole Canyon.
