Description:Black Rock Falls located in the Ngamoowalem Conservation Park 45 minutes drive from Kununurra. Kunnunurra is a 3 hour flight north east of Perth, or 33 hours by road. It is where the locals come to go swimming and enjoy a picnic. The waterfall is most spectacular in the wet season when water tumbles over a 30 metre rock cliff into a pool area below. Black Rock Falls gets its name from its rock cliffs which have been stained black from the minerals in the water over many years.
Usage Restriction:Lands in this region may be subject to Native Title and the Kimberley Land Council should be contacted for further information. Lands may also be subject to mining and exploration tenement packages.
