Australia / Dandaragan, Western Australia
Location ID: #10305163
Noondel is a historic cattle and sheep farm located in the rolling hills of Dandaragan, start of the Darling Scarp. The farm contains many notable geographic features, such as a revegetated brook, limestone gulleys, remnant Marri forest and chalk deposits. Of particular note is the 1870s stone farmhouse, unique for its high pitched roof, in the central complex, located close to sheds, a soak, cattle yards and 50 metres from the brook. Tekymbah is located 20 minutes away and has a highly contrasting landscape, hilly and gravel-capped, with 360 degree views over the windswept coastal heath below.
