Duke’s Vineyard is an award-winning, ten-hectare vineyard in the cool-climate Great Southern wine region of WA. The vineyard is a unique site that sits at the feet of the ancient granite Porongurup peaks.
Unique Cellar Door echoing the shape of the Stirling Range, designed by Hilde Ranson, an artist and co-founder of Duke's Vineyard. Views of the vineyard, the Porongurup Range to the east and the Stirling Ranges to the north. Inside is L-shaped and includes a serving bar and a gallery. Blue colourbond walls inside and out, cement floors, floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides, and a small office. Also includes an outside patio, bocce ball courts, a bottle room with a loading pad, two bathrooms and a small orchard. This building is one of several on the property that include a farmhouse, a heritage shearing shed, a vineyard and a storage/carport/breakroom/cellar/workshop space. The property totals 160 acres with 10ha under vine, has 7 dams of various sizes, and some areas of old trees as well as planted trees.
