Pristine white beaches and golden red cliffs. Cape Leveque is located on the tip of the Dampier Peninsula, 240 kilometres (150 mi) (via the Cape Leveque Road) north of Broome, and is remote with few facilities.
A 13-metre (43 ft)tall lighthouse was erected in 1912. The Cape Leveque Lighthouse is a significant landmark on the coast, and continues to function as a lighthouse. The lighthouse marks the western entrance of King Sound.
Kooljaman at Cape Leveque is a unique wilderness camp which is surrounded by a diversity of natural wonders.
The two surrounding indigenous communities of Djarindjin and Ardyaloon (One Arm Point) jointly own Kooljaman, making it 100% Indigenous Owned.
