Bungle Bungle Range is the landform that is the major component of the Purnululu National Park in Western Australia - it is often used as a synonym for the national park area. The distinctive beehive-shaped towers are made up of sandstones and conglomerates (rocks composed mainly of pebbles and boulders and cemented together by finer material).

Cathedral Gorge is a gorge in the Bungle Bungles, located at the southern end of the mountains ridge. the specialty of this narrow gorge is a place where the gorge widens at the foot of the cliffs. The result is a a huge cathedral like erosional cave forming a sand floored amphitheater.
Purnululu National Park is located 4 hours drive south of Kununurra and 2 hours north of Halls Creek. Kununurra is a 3 hour flight north east of Perth. By road it is a 33 hour drive
